Jacquie Rost, Athletic Director

Jacquie Rost received her Bachelor of Arts in English from Indiana University in 1993; her Master of Arts in Secondary Education from Indiana University South Bend in 2001; and her administrative license from Bethel College in 2013. She served as the Athletic Director at Elkhart Memorial High School for 7 years and the co-Athletic Director of Elkhart High School since 2021. She received distinction as a Certified Athletic Administrator in 2018 from the NIAAA. This fall will mark Rost‘s 27th year as a head coach. As leader of the Memorial Volleyball program for 24 years and the current Elkhart High School head coach, she has a career record of 677-259. She was named the NLC Coach of the Year thirteen times (2002-2011, 2013-2015). Twice she was honored as the State Coach of the Year (2003, 2007) and once as the North Coach of the Year (2009). Coach Rost is married to Scott Rost who teaches PE and is the Head Baseball coach at Elkhart High School. They have two sons, Dylan and Quinn.
Brian Buckley, Athletic Director

Brian “Buck” Buckley is a 1987 graduate of Hillsdale College with a BA in Education. He was a 4 year letter winner in both football and baseball at Hillsdale. Coach Buck received his Masters in Leadership from Trine University and has a Master of Athletic Administration Certification from the NIAAA. He returned to Hillsdale in 1989 to become both the Head Baseball Coach and an Assistant Football Coach. Buckley switched gears and was a human resources professional for 17 years; several of those years as the Vice President of HR at Banks Corporation. Most recently, Buck served as the Athletic Director at Elkhart Central for the past 11 years. He is married to Kelly, an English teacher at Elkhart High School, and is the proud father of Katie and Kortney.
Heather Erlacher, Athletic Secretary

In 2021, Heather Erlacher joined us as the Athletic Secretary and Ticket Manager for Elkhart High School. Heather is a 2004 graduate from Martinsville High School, where she played Softball and competed in Indiana's Final Four. She then continued her education and Softball career at Wabash Valley and Franklin College, where she majored in Sociology. Being an active member in our community, Heather has held various job titles with businesses and is still involved in athletics. She has coached at the youth, intermediate, and high school levels. Heather is also a private instructor at D-Bat Academy where she offers private Softball pitching and hitting lessons. Heather is married to Matt Erlacher, a PE teacher at Beacon Aquatics Center/High School Varsity Assistant Football Coach/High School Strength Coach for Girl's Basketball. They are the proud parents of a future LION, Mason Erlacher.
Jenni Schnekenburger, Athletic Secretary

Jenni joined the athletic staff in the winter of 2023 as the Athletic Secretary. Born & raised in Cary, IL, she is a 2015 grad of Cary-Grove High School where she played on the girl's soccer team, winning two regional titles and one conference title. She then went on to St. Joseph's College (Rensselaer, IN) & Grace College (Winona Lake, IN) where she graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science with a minor in Psychology. While in college, Jenni was a part of the women's soccer team at both St. Joe & Grace. Her senior year, she gained All-American Honors status from the National Christian College Athletic Association and competed in both NAIA and NCCAA national final tournaments. She is also in her first year as a boys soccer coach here at EHS. Jenni is married to her Husband Carl and they have two cats, Junk and Peach, and a dog, Jack.

Larry Kissinger earned his undergraduate degree in Math/Physics and Secondary Education from St. Joseph's College in Rensselaer, IN in 1987; his Master's in Educational Administration from Northern Illinois university in 1997. He was a math and science teacher for 14 years and was head Boys and Girls Track & Field and Cross Country coach for many of those years at Elk Grove HS in Illinois. He served as the Athletic Director at Goshen HS for 20+ years before retiring in 2022. He is new to EHS athletics as Scheduling Coordinator and enjoys promoting professional development in coaching with the Elkhart staff. His transformational purpose statement is: "I lead to prepare students for life-long success by modeling education based athletics and serving with a "+" attitude. His wife, Kelly, is a lifelong math teacher. They have 3 adult children: Louis, Leah, and Jillian.
Erin Foreman, LAT, ATC, Head Athletic Trainer

Erin Foreman joined Beacon Health System in 2021 after working at Manchester University for the past 15 years. While at Manchester, Erin served as the Director of Health & Sports Medicine, Associate Athletic Director/Woman Administrator, and Associate Professor in Exercise Science & Athletic Training. Erin currently serves as the Athletic Training Marketing & Media Lead, and the Lead of the Athletic Training Mental Health Task Force for Beacon Health System. Erin received her Master of Science degree in 2006 from West Virginia University in advanced athletic training. In 2004, she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in athletic training and a minor in sports medicine from Ball State University. In 2021, Erin earned a Certificate in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion from the University of South Florida. She also holds certifications in mental health. Erin resides in Mishawaka and is the sister of Elkhart High School’s team physician, Dr. Ryan Foreman, with OSMC. Erin is originally from Marion, IN where she was a three sport athlete at Mississinewa High School.
Emma Schmidt, LAT, ATC, Athletic Trainer

Emma Schmidt joined Beacon Health System in 2024 after working at Plymouth High School for the past two years. While at Plymouth, Emma served both the high school and middle school student athletes. Emma graduated Summa Cum Laude from Indiana Wesleyan University in 2021 earning her Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training. Emma decided to pursue athletic training as a profession after sustaining an injury to her knee requiring reconstructive surgery while participating in high school sports. Emma graduated high school from Bremen and currently resides there. Outside of work Emma loves to go to the gym, spend time outside, read, and complete puzzles.
Ryan Foreman, MD, Team Physician
Musculoskeletal specialist Ryan Foreman, MD, joined the OSMC medical team in 2014 after completing a postgraduate sports medicine fellowship at the University of Notre Dame. He holds a BA in chemistry from Ball State University in Muncie, IN, where he was the Excellence in Leadership scholarship winner. He earned his medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine in 2010, and completed his residency in family medicine at Memorial Hospital in South Bend, IN. Dr. Foreman is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine with a Certificate of Added Qualification in Sports Medicine. He is a member of the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine and the American College of Sports Medicine.
At OSMC, he helps return patients of all ages return to the activities they love. This includes getting toddlers back to the playground, high school and collegiate athletes back to the game, adults back to work, and grandparents back to their hobbies. Dr. Foreman is especially adept to helping patients for whom other treatment methods have failed.
Conner Glon, CSCS, USAW, Wellness Performance Specialist

Conner Glon joined Beacon Health System in 2024 after working for Wawasee High School as a Strength and Conditioning Coach for the past three years. While at Wawasee, Conner led an extensive strength and conditioning program through an advanced P.E. course that included 9-12 graders and served 24 athletic teams. Conner received his degree in Exercise Science from Manchester University in 2021; where he also played football for the Spartans. Conner has also served as an intern for Parkview Sports Medicine and the Purdue Boilermakers football program. Conner has also worked as a personal trainer at Strauss-Peabody Aquatic & Fitness Center while obtaining his current certifications. Conner found his path into sports performance by overcoming a deficiency in his ankles and feet as a young athlete. This adversity, along with the influence of his father who is in the Indiana football coach’s hall of fame, led him to his career path. Conner lives in Mishawaka, IN and enjoys Muythai Kickboxing and spending time with his growing family.
