For Middle School Students

Athletics are a vital part of the middle school experience at Elkhart Community Schools. Our interscholastic athletic program is designed to build positive habits, encourage teamwork, and help students develop lifelong skills.

The program aims to develop desirable attitudes and habits related to athletics and life beyond school. It promotes good citizenship and sportsmanship, encourages unity among athletes, coaches, parents, and administrators, and prepares students for participation in society after graduation. The goal is not to develop college or professional athletes, nor to prepare gifted athletes for elite-level competition, but to support the development of well-rounded individuals.

There is a required fee of $20.00 per athlete for each sport they participate in during the school year. This fee is paid by the season and covers transportation, equipment, laundry, and other related expenses. Payment must be made in the exact amount by cash or check—no change will be given. Checks can be made out to your child’s school.

Eventlink

Elkhart Athletics uses Eventlink to manage practice schedules, competition schedules, and online ticket sales. Parents and guardians are encouraged to create an Eventlink account and subscribe to their child’s sports to receive real-time schedule updates and changes.

Option 1: Using the Eventlink Mobile App

Create an Account and Search for Schools: Download the Eventlink app from the App Store or Google Play. Open the app, tap Create Account, then follow the prompts. Enter your school name or ZIP code and state, tap the + icon to add your school, then continue.
Enter Your Information: Provide your username, password, first and last name, and time zone. Tap + next to “Contacts” to add a contact. You will receive an activation email—follow the instructions to activate your contact point.
Subscribe to Calendars and Add More Schools (Optional): Tap Manage Calendar to add or remove calendars. To add more schools, go to Manage Schools, search again by school name or ZIP code and state, and tap + to add.

Option 2: Using a Desktop Browser

Create an Account and Search for Schools: Go to eventlink.com, click Create Account, and search for your school by name or ZIP code and state. Click + to add your school.
Enter Your Information: Fill in your first and last name, username, time zone, password, and contact email (required). You may also enter a phone number or add multiple contacts. Click Complete Registration. When prompted, enter the activation code from your email and click Activate.
Subscribe to Calendars and Add More Schools (Optional): From your Eventlink dashboard, click My Calendar, then Manage My Calendar to add or remove sports calendars. To manage schools, hover over your name in the upper right corner, click Manage Schools, and use the + to add another school.
