Golf - Girls
Todd King is currently a teacher at Eastwood Elementary School in Elkhart Community Schools. He has served as the Boys Golf coach at Northridge High School for the past two seasons.
According to Principal Cary Anderson Coach King has a “wealth of experience in the sport of golf that will allow him to impact Elkhart High School golfers. The work he has done with youth golfers in the area will be integral in his ability to build our Girls Golf program.”
In his two years leading the Boys Golf program at Northridge, his teams won the sectional both years. In addition, he has coached one individual in the state meet both years. While at Northridge he amassed a coaching record of 28-5. Previously, Coach King lead the Boys and Girls Golf programs at Elkhart Memorial before the merge in 2020.
According to Todd King, “I am very grateful for the opportunity to coach boys and girls golf again with Elkhart High School. As an Elkhart kid myself, I am excited give back to the community that I hold close to my heart. I am looking forward to the task of building the girls program and in the continued development of the boys’ program. The key will be finding kids that are interested in playing golf in the lower grade levels. In doing so, we hope to soon start a middle school program to give kids the opportunity to learn the game.”
