Todd Sheely, Head Coach

Todd Sheely

Todd Sheely begins his 21st year as a head coach in the state of Indiana.This will be his ninth year coaching an Elkhart High School team. Previously, he was the head girls coach for 10 years and the boys coach for two years at Center Grove. During the previous 20 years as a head coach Todd’s teams have won 13 sectionals, made Semi-State nine times, Elite eight seven times and Final Four twice. He has coached over 30 1st Team All State players during his tenure.

He was named the Indiana High School Girls Coach of the Year in 2007. He will be starting his eighth year teaching at Elkhart HS with the Social Studies Department. He was named the Center Grove HS teacher of the year in 2009 and the Elkhart Memorial HS Teacher of the year in 2019. In addition to being a high school coach Todd is also the Director of Olympic/Player Development for Indiana Youth Soccer.

Coach Sheely graduated from Center Grove in 1997 and IUPUI in 2001. He was named an Indiana All Star in 1996 and was a starter on the teams that won conference at IUPUI and played in the first College Cup or NCAA Tournament in school history in 2000. He and his teammates were inducted into the IUPUI Hall of Fame in January of 2016.  Todd has two sons Mayson (16) and Brennan (14) and a daughter, Morgan (3). He holds a National Youth License, NSCAA Premier Diploma, USSF “C” License and is a Head coach for the Midwest Region and USYS ODP National team through US Youth Soccer.
