Coaches' Comments: Elkhart Volleyball
Though we graduated huge contributors to both offense and defense from the 2022 team, we return a core group of players who got substantial varsity experience including Ava Decker, senior, MH; Alia Bravo, senior, DS; Aviri Curry, junior, OH, Jariyah Scott, senior, OH, and Ava Polack, sophomore, Setter. This group will be joined by athletic and eager players featuring senior Outside Hitter Brylee Franklin, senior Middle Hitter, Ashanti Bonner, junior opposite attacker, Kimmie Gorman, and freshman attacker and setter Rylee Drummond. We look to defend our 2022 NIC title and expect great individual and team growth throughout the season from Elkhart volleyball teams at all three levels. Our numbers are very solid from freshmen through seniors and the time and effort that they all put into improvement is obvious.
We want to wish good luck to our 2023 volleyball graduates, who are continuing to play volleyball in college, including Hannah Teich (Indiana Tech), Tiffany Watterson (Manchester University), Payton Schultheis (IU East), and Allison Freeze (University of Saint Francis).
Thank you to our community businesses and families for their generous donations to the 2023 Elkhart Volleyball program.
